   I've surfed my whole life and I get out there as much as I possibly can while running City Drains Ltd & POOMAN, my drainage companies. I'm a busy married man with two beautiful little grommets. I started taking photos 5 or 6 years ago and got really serious a year ago. I would far rather catch a wave than take a photo of a wave - the thought of taking photos in 2-3ft surf would bore me to tears when I could be out there.

   My passion is taking photographs in solid, slabbing pits. If you're thinking 'this guy is tripping... he lives in Christchurch' you need to buy yourself a jetski and go hunting. Banks' Peninsula has some of the best reef/slabs around. Unfortunately they are accessible by jetski or boat only. These have really motivated me to get serious about photography - there's nothing better than watching your mates getting blown out of 6ft pits. We clock up a lot of kms and a lot of hours on our skis, but if you look through my photos we have proof that the South Island pumps. We've done trips from Nelson to Riverton and if you think I'm going to tell you where these spots are you've got another thing coming...

   I'M NOT INTERESTED IN THE SLIGHTEST IN THE SURF PHOTOGRAPHY POLITICS AND BS. If you contact me to have a whinge, you're barking up the wrong tree. There are plenty of other NZ websites you can contact - don't bore me with your dribble.
